The shift to remote education has presented instructors with many challenges. In engineering, one of the biggest challenges is shifting the experiential learning from hands-on laboratories to remote settings. Institutions with spring/summer terms have been faced with this challenge for months now, and undoubtedly have first-hand experience that might be valuable to others.

In the third installment of this webinar series, we will continue to take a ‘case study approach’, and look behind the curtain of the experiences from one institution – University of Waterloo. 

By the end of this session, participants will:

• Understand the most pressing challenges, successful solutions, and unexpected surprises faced by instructors teaching lab courses remotely this summer

• Have the opportunity to gather insight on current pressing questions

• Connect with others who teach similar courses, or face similar challenges
